MDC to host virtual backpack camping workshop


JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation is hosting a virtual backpack camping workshop next week.

The focus of the program is preparing backpacks for safety and comfort while outdoors, and how to pack essentials for a multi-day trip.

The event will be next Friday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Registration is required, and available at mdc.mo.gov/events.
